The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) revealed a multi-year partnership with Paris Jewellers Canada, naming the renowned Canadian brand as the official designer of its inaugural championship rings. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for both women's professional hockey and women-led businesses in Canada.

The first set of championship rings commemorates PWHL Minnesota’s historic Walter Cup victory. Designed in partnership with the league and the team, the rings are a breathtaking fusion of elegance, symbolism, and celebration. Crafted from sterling silver, the centerpiece features the iconic Walter Cup surrounded by 18 radiant purple amethyst gemstones — a tribute to resilience, growth, and Minnesota’s team colors. A halo of 74 genuine diamonds encircles the amethysts, representing Minnesota's total wins throughout the season and playoffs, while additional diamonds honor the team's goal-scoring achievements.

Each ring is deeply personal, with the inscription "WIN ONE GAME," the championship game's date (May 29, 2024), and the final score (3-0) engraved inside. Players’ last names and jersey numbers are also individually etched, making each piece a unique token of triumph.
Chau Lui, Co-Owner of Paris Jewellers Canada and a proud mother of two hockey-playing daughters, emphasized the emotional weight of this collaboration:
“Being entrusted to design the PWHL championship rings is not just an honor, it's a reflection of the empowerment of women.”
Lui’s commitment to celebrating milestones and empowering individuals made Paris Jewellers Canada a natural fit for the PWHL's vision. Amy Scheer, PWHL Executive Vice President of Business Operations, praised Paris Jewellers for capturing the spirit of the league’s historic first champions:
"These rings not only celebrate a landmark moment but are the beginning of a new era in women’s sports."
The rings were presented to Minnesota players and staff in a private ceremony on April 27, an emotional event that underscored the significance of their achievement and the growing legacy of women’s hockey.
As the PWHL prepares for its 2025 playoffs, the next championship team can look forward to working with Paris Jewellers Canada to design another unforgettable symbol of victory.
